Noyes Barber Shop, established in 1916, is a cherished relic of timeless grooming traditions. This family-owned establishment, now under its fourth proprietor, proudly specializes in classic men’s haircuts. The ambiance exudes old-fashioned charm with vintage leather chairs and 40’s and 50’s music. Beyond expert haircuts, clients enjoy the luxury of complimentary neck shaves and meticulous beard trims. Serving a diverse clientele spanning ages from 6 months and beyond, Noyes Barber Shop has remained a community cornerstone for over a century, preserving the artistry of grooming while adapting to the evolving tastes of generations.

Noyes Barber Shop started in 1916 by a man named Fred Bruins and was originally located at 824 Noyes. In 1954, a man named Herman Barr
purchased the barbershop and moved the barbershop to it’s current location at 916 Noyes Street. In August of 1953, Fred Booge and his father started working at the barbershop in the 5th and 6th chair. In 1959, Fred bought the shop from Herman. Fred’s son, Manfred Booge. started working there in 1993 and took over ownership of the shop in 2005.
