Noyes Barber Shop started in 1916 by a man named Fred Bruins and was originally located at 824 Noyes. In 1954, a man named Herman Barr
purchased the barbershop and moved the barbershop to it’s current location at 916 Noyes Street. In August of 1953, Fred Booge and his father started working at the barbershop in the 5th and 6th chair. In 1959, Fred bought the shop from Herman. Fred’s son, Manfred Booge. started working there in 1993 and took over ownership of the shop in 2005.
