Quality Alterations & Bridal Co. has proudly served the Chicagoland area and its suburbs since 1996. Over the years, the business has grown and evolved through three different owners, each contributing to its journey. The original owner led the business from its opening until 2013, when it was sold to a second owner. In 2019, Quality Alterations & Bridal Co. entered a new and meaningful chapter under its current ownership. What makes our story truly special is the journey of our current owner, Ekram Hanna. When she arrived in the United States as a refugee in 2013, she worked part-time at Quality Alterations for one year while attending collage. Just six years later, in 2019, she returned- not as an employee, but as the owner of the business. Her journey reflects resilience, determination, and the belief that hard work and opportunity can transform lives.
Originally, the business operated as a resale shop offering alterations and dry cleaning services. In 2019, the current owner reimagined the business, shifting its focus away from resale and dry cleaning to become Quality Alterations & Bridal Co., a specialized bridal and formalwear alteration studio. Today, we are known for precision, professionalism, and expert craftsmanship, providing high-quality alterations by experienced specialists.
In 2021, one of our exceptional tailors, Nahrin Dawood whose skill, dedication, and leadership have been integral to our success joined the business as a partner. In 2022, she stepped into a leadership role and began taking the lead in managing the store, strengthening our commitment to excellence and continuity of care for our clients. We are proud to serve the Evanston community, the greater Chicagoland area, and the North Shore suburbs, with clients coming from Wilmette and surrounding areas in search of expert craftsmanship and truly high-quality work.
