Offering retail and wholesale to the public, we are the first choice for people who love a wide selection and great prices on all things sewing. We also offer sewing machine sales, repairs, and rentals. When it is time to redecorate your home, you can DIY or have our workroom reupholster your furniture and make new curtains.

Opened in 1945 on Chicago Ave near Main Street, we quickly outgrew the small storefront and took the space on the north side of Main that is now the city parking lot. When the block burned down in 1959, we moved to the south side of the street, instead of rebuilding. We already had a drapery/upholstery storefront at 732, so taking 722 Main, a couple of doors down, made sense. As other retailers left Main Street, we bought their spaces, eventually covering 718-732 – nearly half the block. In 2021, after the COVID shutdown, we sold the Main Street property and moved our retail business into our 20,000 sq ft warehouse at 618 Hartrey Ave, which we owned since 1984. This has been a great move, streamlining our business and putting all of our resources together to serve our customers more efficiently. We now offer retail and wholesale to the public, a mail-order swatch club called Vogue Fabrics Catalog, a booming website, a growing social media presence, and we tour the country selling at sewing expos and costume events.
